Surface Preparation:

• Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from grease, wax, or dust.

• Fill any cracks or damaged areas with a high-quality flexible filler.

• Use white spirit to clean oily woods, knots, or resinous areas.

• Remove mould, algae, and moss with domestic bleach and allow to dry.

• Apply Rustins Wood Dye if colour enhancement is required before varnishing.

Application Instructions:

• Stir Well Before Use – Do not shake the tin.

• Apply with a synthetic brush following the wood grain.

• On hot days, dilute the first coat with up to 15% water for easier application.

• Apply 3 coats with light sanding between the first and second coats to remove raised grain.

• Allow 2 hours drying time between coats.

• Do not apply on hot surfaces, in direct sunlight, or if rain is expected.
