Rustins Quick Drying MDF Clear Sealer

• Rustins MDF clear sealer is formulated with a water based acrylic emulsion which has a milky-white appearance whilst liquid but dries to a clear sealer
• When dry it can be painted or varnished with solvent or water based products
• Available in sizes: 250ml, 500ml, 1L, 2.5L

Preperation:

• The surface must be clean and free from wax and grease

Application:

• Stir well before use and apply liberally and evenly with a synthetic fibre brush, pad or sponge
• If finishing with a gloss paint, edges and rebated or routed areas may require a second application of sealer
• For best results, apply an undercoat after sealing and before applying final gloss paint

Re-coating Time:

• The sealer will be touch dry in approximately 30 minutes depending upon the temperature and humidity and can be re-coated after a minimum of two hours

Coverage:

• Covers approximately 12 sq m per coat per litre

Cleaning:

• Remove as much sealer as possible and return to this container
• Brushes should then be cleaned immediately with water
• If the brushes become hard, they may be cleaned with Rustins Brush Restorer or Rustins Cellulose Thinners
