WHERE TO SOW
Sow seeds thinly into pots or trays under glass at 13°C, or sow in shallow drills 2cm (¾") deep in a seed bed outside.
WHAT TO DO NEXT
As soon as glasshouse seedlings show first pair of leaves, prick off into trays 5cm (2") apart. Gradually harden off before planting in the growing site 60cm (24") apart in May. Thin outdoor seedlings as soon as possible to 10cm (4") apart and transplant to growing site when about 15cm (6") tall.
HANDY TIP
A slightly shorter variety which makes it suitable for the more exposed site.
